I’m sitting here enjoying relative peace because of a nice break in the clouds – the hubstar has taken the little one for a walk around the block. I’m debating irrigating my nose to combat what appears to be resolidifed sinuses, and marshaling my thoughts to get my various writing tasks done for the day/weekend.. like this one, hey hey!
I can happily report that this week’s prompt at the Chrysalis Experiment gave me inspiration to write. It’s a companion piece to something mine Heatherbat wrote in high school, but alas, the original piece was lost to the sands of time. That, and an hilariously faulty and ancient Mac; maybe that’s why I don’t get on with them. *coughs* I’m pleased that it got picked as the story of the week… didn’t quite expect that. I wasn’t bothered either way, because I know that me and Heather are going to enjoy the story either way.
*proceeds to irrigate nose and make a right hilarious mess* I wouldn’t mind the wet shirt if it actually helped shift the crap up my sinuses! And, if I’d been smart, I’d’ve made sure my pot was dusted out – the joy of having the smell of dust firmly embedded up your nose…
Blech, this is seriously distracting, and I don’t really have anything to say today, so I’m going to go claw my nose off.
[[radio edit]] The misery passed eventually, hooray! At least, that misery did; I’m still feeling rather sinus blocked. 🙂
