I merely want to offer something to consider for today, and for the next couple of weeks as the average joe is hurrying from one so-called bargain to the next in this run up to Christmas – why is it the duty of the 99% to spend their hard-earned money to keep the economy afloat, while the richest are lauded for hording? And, of course, what they’re hording is our hard-earned money, meaning that there is less in real terms to spend, even with all the stimulus and quantitative easing going on. We’re told that we’re bad for not investing and having large stockpiles, and yet, we’re also told we’re going to break the economy if we DON’T spend… seems a bit of a catch-22 to me.
Think on it as you will, or won’t. I am not an economic expert; I am merely offering a query based on my personal observations. 🙂
