Apparently, I’ve hit a spot where I am completely bereft of ideas to post about; good thing I don’t do this for pay, right? So instead, I shall bow out and hope tomorrow gives me some inspiration, but not before saying this – do not waste your time in negative thought. It is a poison and a drug that feeds itself, and the victim isn’t the targets of your ire – it’s you. Take a cue from the joke paper The Onion and take a deep breath and a few seconds before responding to people/things. Look in the mirror and say something kindly to yourself; it might feel like hockum, but you’d be surprised how effective it is when routinely practiced.
That isn’t to say that you’ll never get mad or should never get mad – it is a normal, healthy emotion in moderation. It’s merely a chiding to not live in the red fog, because it truly isn’t’ worth it.
Otherwise, have yourself an excellent (and hopefully kindly) day!
