If I Had a Mountain//Slow News Day
I am a total zombie today… but I can’t say that I mind. *chuckles* I’m more cross at the fact that I’ve not gotten the right ratio of caffeine and water down me, so my head started going a bit woozy and dizzy – d’oh! I guess cutting my hair wasn’t the silver bullet, but ah well… it’ll grow back.
Anyways – mountains!
Twin peaks up for sale in Austria

Hrm… have a house… or have twin peaks? Alas, you can’t buy them and then keep the hoi polloi off, so I’m not sure what the point is. Perhaps that means you don’t have to pay clearance to put up ski-ma-bobs and cabins? Iunno, I guess it’s one of those things that sounds awesome initially, but makes little sense the more you think about it.
Today is the Queen’s official birthday here in the UK, which means that there’s the whole Trooping the Colors thing:
Prince William in first Trooping the Colour parade

I’ve somehow managed to miss this every single year since moving here – d’oh! Today was no exception; I was aware that the Queen’s official birthday as nigh, and I might’ve even in past times put together that Trooping the Colours occurred on that day, but I still managed to not add it all up – d’oh! Today also saw the Birthday Honors List published, which meant nothing to me outside an opportunity to scroll through, see nobody I know, and snigger at funny surnames (Cockram is my winner, I think). Hopefully next year I won’t miss the Trooping, ’cause I am interested in seeing it, so… fingers crossed that the sixth time is the charm?
I think that’s it for now… methinks I’m going to go take something for my head and maybe see if I can convince myself to exercise a bit. Grumble, but I hate exercising so…
<3!
