London Calling
I have to say that, surprises of surprises, I’ve been happy with what I’ve heard out of the London protest camps. Yes, it’s multiple camps now:
Second Occupy London camp forms at Finsbury Square

I knew this was going to be a consideration in continued deference to St. Paul’s Cathedral, so I’m happy to see it so decisively executed. As for the cathedral’s side of the story, my mother linked me to this:
Let’s name those who may have decided to move #occupylondon on from St Paul’s

I haven’t independently verified the list (what am I, the BBC?!), but what it suggests comes as no surprise to me. Certainly, quotes attributed to staff at the cathedral seem to suggest that they are missing the point; trying to claim the Occupy protesters have made their point and should move on clearly suggests this. The point will be made when change is effected. I know, people fret ’cause there aren’t clear and concise, but dialog first, action second. If you’re going to change the world, it’s not like it’s going to happen overnight. ;D
