I’m going to bunk off today, ’cause I’ve got a few hours of being in a car that will be eating up my afternoon. I’ve got my passport interview booked for this afternoon, and the nearest place to do it is about an hour away by car. What fun it will be; the whole concept of an interview is weird to me. I didn’t have one for my three American passports, and as we used the Check and Send service to get my passport app to the government and that requires seeing that I’m me… *shakes head* Suffices to say, this strikes me as obnoxious bureaucracy in action… but that’s the British government for you!
