Unexpectedly, the NHS has done something in a timely manner, and it has blown my mind. Guess who actually has an appointment scheduled within the promised time frame? Me? Hells yeah! And it’s even an afternoon appointment for once – bonus.

Though having said that, I’m still not confident with how it’s gonna turn out. I’m doing my best to stay open-minded, but when it comes to brain stuff and medical stuff and whatnot, I’m usually underwhelmed by the level of assistance/place they start from. I’m aware they feel the need to start at the bottom, as if everyone is a drooling moron, but I sooo don’t have the time or patience for that. I wish I did, ’cause there are totally going to be times where I am that drooling moron.

Feh… so good that there’s an appointment, and here’s hoping I don’t think about it too much in advance! I shall now go find something to keep my mind busy so I don’t start fretting and picking everything apart again… ’cause I do that, and it doesn’t help with anything. At least there IS healthcare, and that half-loaf is better than the no-loaf in the States. 🙂
