A Calm Sort of Day
Snow fell, and I went and played in it. It was my daughter’s first time, and her mittens meant she couldn’t quite manage to form snowballs. Still, she had fun batting the white stuff around, and was cross when we took her inside. Maybe we’ll get some more play time in tomorrow if it hasn’t melted (it should be okay, unless it washes away overnight), but for now? My back is killing me after making large in-roads on making a fantastic, strategically placed snow fort on the corner of our building. I hope that the neighborhood kids make use of it, and not for evil.
Besides staring out windows and grinning, I’ve had a bit of the Sims creative hankering going on. I’ve created a couple of lots, and possibly more to come. If anyone is interested in downloading any of my creations, feel free to check out my studio at the Sims website. The two new additions are Tastefully Tiny and Classique; both are on 10×10 lots, making them very friendly for plopping down on any map! The house (Tastefully Tiny), is especially designed with population in mind – the size, contents, and cost should potentially entice more townies to move in and fill up your map. I read somewhere that houses with cribs work well to entice people to move in, so it’s worth trying out. Plus, the house itself looks great as a sub-neighborhood… y’know, if you enjoy the soulless attractiveness of generic suburbia!
I can’t really think of anything else to add. My motivation is still kind of off hiding somewhere, so I’m opting to celebrate what teensy things I am getting done in hopes of tricking myself into doing more. There’s a small list of things I’d ideally like to do, like draw and write and the likes… but I’ve not gotten past the thinkery stage of things. And for those who follow both of my blogs – mes apologies that it’s all about the same right now. *chuckles*
