While yesterday is a well-intentioned pile of sentiment, today overshadows it year after year. Why, you might ask? Because it is my wonderful husband’s birthday, so the love-in continues on. And is something I’m gonna get back to; birthdays are a fantastic reason to blow off trivial commitments. Not that I consider this blog a worthless endeavour, obviously, but spending time around my family on special days does take precedence. 😉
