If you’re reading this, then I am pleased to announce that the transfer to a clean install went well. If the little nasties were something hiding on my domain, they lost all their hiding places last night. I removed everything, changed all the passwords, and then reinstalled this, the main blog. I’m probably not going to put the Chrysalis install back up, as all of those are backed up at Figment already. I will probably reinstall the writing/roleplay archive, if only because I like it being up and available for reference. I’ll have to opt for a new theme, as the one I was using hadn’t been updated in a million years, but ah well – better safe than sorry, right?

I also want to take a moment to thank you, the readers, for sticking around in spite of the nuisance. It’s not like there’s eleventy billion of you; there’s maybe a couple of dozen, and even if there’s little commenting, most of you are my friends and I value having you around. And for those of you that aren’t my friends yet – say hi already! If comments aren’t your style, then there’s always the contact form. I will admit that, obviously, I’m writing this mainly for me, but I do care about those who do actually bother to read what I have to say. If not for other people reading and dropping me the occasional line, how would I know there were bad things going on here to be fixed (Which reminds me – thanks again to DiscoDoris of Dorki for pointing that out in the first place)? Whatever the case, I appreciate you guys being here, and contributing however you may choose to (or not – also valid).

I will add, as a final note, I’ve done some things to beef up the security around here. So fingers crossed that we won’t have to worry about any more annoying, mind-sapping nasties hiding out. At least I can take comfort in the fact that if they do pop back up, they’re totally not my fault this time. *chuckles*
