I mentioned that I had two little goals yesterday – writing a letter, and doing a simple crochet pattern. To my joy, I’ve completed both; the letter is in the mail, and my phone is nestling in its ‘sassy’ new case. I even did one better – I finally completed the paperwork for the name changes that need doing on my American passport and Social Security card! We’re going to pop them in the recorded post later, but man – so glad that we finally did that. I’ve got so many stupid little things that I’ve been putting off contingent on that being completed, such as my British learner’s permit, and renewing my American voting registration. I guess it’s easier to pick up tasks once one is on a roll? That would explain the finally buckling down and getting it done, ha ha. And, fingers crossed, I won’t start getting all antsy and looking for other things to do. I do intend to do the next pattern in the crochet book I have on hand, but I’m not going to force myself to complete an entire scarf overnight (or over the weekend, though we’ll see how I feel once I’ve got hand to hook).

Speaking of this weekend, four is better than two. That’s right – it’s a loooooooooooooooooong weekend. That means I’ll likely be lazy/sparse here, but that’s alright – I’m sure you loyal readers probably won’t mind a break from my mad ramblings. *whistles* Though obviously, we’ll take it day-by-day and try to make the best of those days, ’cause that’s logical.
